Coming in Nov 2017
The Leadership Development Wabash County Program is the premier Leadership training program for our area. It brings together a diverse group of existing and emerging community leaders and enables them to become resourceful stewards of the community. In the last 7 years, we have graduated over 150 of your peers who serve on local boards, have enhanced the companies they work for, serve in government positions and grown as individuals. Won't you join them?
TOOLS USED DURING THE CLASS:
- Panel discussions
- Self assessments
- Guest lectures
- Site visits and tours
- Group discussions
- Community service projects
Through these activities each member develops a comprehensive sense of our Wabash County. The 2017-2018 class has some exciting new changes. Jim Smith, this year's facilitator for Leadership Development of Wabash County, along with Manchester University are crafting an innovative new curriculum to better meet the goals of the program.
Those interested in participating in Leadership Development Wabash County will benefit from the program’s objectives including:
- Learning new leadership skills
- Creating community awareness
- Team building
- Creating stewardship opportunities
- Fostering a community vision
- Best Practice business ethics
This is a program that commands commitment of time and relies heavily on a diverse group of participants from throughout the Wabash County community. It takes participants from business (all sizes), education, government, community organizations, and healthcare.
Participating in Leadership Development Wabash County is a privilege and should not be entered into lightly. The program only works with full commitment from participants.
