Chamber > Blue Ribbon Business

One of the many honors I have when it comes to serving on the Wabash Chamber Membership Committee is to meet and interview the selection for the Blue Ribbon Business of the Month. It was an honor and privilege to sit and discuss the firm’s history with three Wabash natives, Mark C. Guenin, his daughter Emily C. Guenin-Hodson, and Emily’s husband, Jeff Guenin-Hodson, who together own and manage the family law practice of Guenin Law Office.
A lifelong resident of Wabash County, Mark, a graduate of Southwood High School, later Wabash College, and Indiana University at Bloomington, joined the office of Wabash attorneys Johnston and Lehman located on the corner of Miami and Hill Street in 1978. In April of 1999, Guenin moved temporarily into an office in the back of David Mann’s office on South Wabash Street, finally moving into the current location in June of 2000.
Guenin said, “I always wanted a law office of my own, and with Emily’s decision to attend law school it became my dream to have her join me.” That dream became reality when Emily joined as a partner in 2003 after graduating from law school at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
In addition to the three principals, other staff includes Tuesday Bucher, Tiffanie King, Joann Boggs, and Michele Richman. Guenin Law specializes in personal injury, estate planning & administrating, family law, custody, divorce, some corporate areas, and deed preparation. The law office prides itself on its reputation as a small law firm with strong legal contacts throughout Indiana and other states, which gives them an edge in providing customer service.
Mark encourages anyone who needs a law firm that takes family matters seriously to contact Guenin Law in person Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by telephone 1- 866 519-1171 or 260 569-7900, Fax: 260 569-0626, email: Mark C. Guenin at office@wabashlawyers.com or Emily C. Guenin-Hodson at emily@wabashlawyers.com. The company website is www.gueninlaw.com.
